CURVE LURVE AN EXHIBITION BY ROGER APTE

Sculptor and AILDM awards trophy designer Roger Apte is holding an exhibition, Curve Lurve.

He will be showing his latest works using plywood, an example of which is, Love’s Embrace, seen above. While the plywood exhibition works aren’t suitable for outdoors, they are meant to also be maquettes for larger works, and more pertinently, larger works in sheetmetal that can be used in external locations. Many of the sculptures are inspired by plant forms and apart from that I’m hoping that the members who come along will simply enjoy them as artworks too.

Location is Roger Apte’s studio, The Warehouse, Bennett Place, Surry Hills NSW.

Hours are 10.00am to 5.00pm daily.

Dates are,
·         Saturday 25 October – Friday 31 October: Designers Preview week
·         Friday 31 October – 6.00pm Opening
·         Saturday 1 November – Sunday 9 November: Open to general public

For other times, appointments can be made by phoning Roger on 0419 360 036.
