Leading UK gardener the Duchess of Northumberland to visit Sydney to present the world-renowned ‘Alnwick Garden’.
The Duchess of Northumberland, a keen gardener and the visionary behind the UK’s renowned Alnwick Garden, will visit Sydney on February 25 to present these extraordinary gardens in a talk hosted by Friends of the Botanic Gardens Inc.
The Alnwick Garden, described as Britain’s most talked about public garden and developed at a cost of £35.1 million, has been heralded as one of the world’s most spectacular gardens of the modern era and attracts over 600 000 visitors each year, despite being only two-thirds complete.
