ecodesign is a multidisciplinary Landscape design consultancy practice. Our range of works spans from Residential garden design to Landscape Consultancy for Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Infrastructure and Institutional Development projects.

Our diverse range clients and services requires a dynamic and vibrant team to accommodate all manner of Landscape Design, Vegetation Management and Arboriculture consultancy works. We also provide construction cost estimation and project management services allowing the coverage of all spectrums of Landscape from design to construction.

We require a Full Time Landscape Designer to join our dedicated and enthusiastic team. Remuneration is competitive and is commensurate to related experience. Our remuneration structure is proactive and we have implemented an additional employee benefit program.

The position reports directly to the Design Team Leader and will predominantly be preparing Residential Landscape Development Documentation, although we work collaboratively across the studio requiring participation in the other projects the office undertakes.

Essential criteria for candidates include a Diploma Landscape Design
and a demonstrated proficiency in:

  • Operating AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications;
  • Working in a team environment;
  • Managing individual workload to meet and exceed the requirements of multiple clients’;
  • Designing for compliance with Local and State Government development controls;
  • Designing to integrate with common building and development construction methodologies.
  • Communicating effectively with multiple stakeholders to achieve required client outcomes (ie. Project consultants, council, builder, developer, contractor).

    Desirable criteria for candidates include:

    • A related additional qualification and/or a demonstrated area of expertise (ie. graphic design, bush regeneration, architectural drafting, urban ecology, arboriculture, horticulture, construction estimating and construction project management);
    • A willingness to contribute and participate with the team in continuing professional development opportunities.
