The following letter has been sent by AILDM to the Premiers, Ministers of Primary Industry and Ministers of Environment and Climate Change of the NSW and Victorian State Governments.
They ask for an extension of the moratorium on the planting of Genetically Modified Organisms in the two states.
We will also be writing to the other state governments congratulating them on maintaining their moratoria on these products.
Follow up letters by concerned individuals would reinforce our thoughts on untested GMOs being introduced into the agricultural and horticultural systems of Australia.
