Habitat for Humanity is a not-for-profit non-government charitable organisation that raises funds and builds houses for people in need in Australia and overseas. The Global Village Project sends teams of volunteers to countries of their choice to physically take part in the building of houses for people in need.
A fundraising night will be held on Saturday 26th July, featuring Lincoln Hall – Himalayan mountaineer, guide, and author of books including Dead Lucky: Life After Death on Mount Everest. Tickets for this event are $35, or $25 concession, $15 for teenagers. Part of the cost of each ticket is a tax deductible donation to Habitat for Humanity.
