ecodesign Pty Ltd is experiencing solid growth within our landscape design and arboricultural consultancy company and we are seeking a full time Landscape Technician to act in a CAD drafting / construction estimator role within our consultancy team.
Ideally we are seeking a candidate who can work Monday to Friday from our Carlingford offices. The position will primarily be responsible for increasing the capacity of our current design team by assisting with the drafting of landscape plans for our designers.
We also envisage that the position will be responsible for construction estimating ie. Preparing estimates and quotations, obtaining quotations from suppliers and subcontractors, undertaking site inspections and liaising with prospective clients.
Essential criteria for our ideal candidate include:
- Have superior proficiency in AutoCAD LT drafting software.
- Demonstrated experience in providing landscape construction estimating.
- We operate PC / Windows / Microsoft Office and superior proficiency in these systems is expected.
Desirable but not essential criteria include:
- Ability to use of Adobe Creative Suite.
- Arboricultural, Bush regeneration or Ecological Tertiary qualifications
Our ideal candidate would be a Landscape construction estimator who has AutoCAD proficiency and would like to combine their skills in a professional design consultancy environment.

The position is Permanent Full Time with preferred hours from 9pm – 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
