NATIONAL STUDENT DESIGN COMPETITION 2009

The Australian Institute of Landscape Designers and Managers (AILDM) announces the 2009 National Student Design Competition for students enrolled in a landscape design course in  Australia which leads to an award of Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Design Certificate IV or  Degree. Students studying for other awards may apply for special permission to enter with the  support of their design teacher.

Prizes

1st Prize    $1000
2nd Prize     $500
3rd Prize     $300

In addition to our usual magnificent prizes there will be an additional award attached to this competition. This award will be named the Alan Correy Student Design Award and commemorates the enormous contribution made to our profession by AILDM’s patron, Alan Correy.

The prize will be a trophy in the same form as the annual AILDM Design Award trophies as well as a bound copy of a thesis on Alan’s career by UNSW graduate Terry Boyle.

This prize will go to the entry that best represents the spirit of landscape design and may be awarded to any entry- it does not necessarily have to be a place-getter in the Student Design Competition.
