In accordance with Sections 8 and 9 of the Articles of Association, notice is hereby given that the election of the Sixth National Board of Directors of the Australian Institute of Landscape Designers & Managers Ltd will take place on Saturday, 17th November, 2007.
Call for Nominations of Candidates
Nominations are hereby called for the 10 Board positions.
To be eligible for election to the Board, a candidate must be a financial corporate member of AILDM Ltd (Member, Fellow or Affiliate). Student Members are not eligible for election.
Any eligible member may nominate himself or herself for election.
Any financial member may nominate another eligible member as a candidate for election, provided the member nominated agrees to the nomination.
Nominations should be submitted on the enclosed Nomination Form and must be received by the Administrator no later than 5:00 pm on Wednesday, 17th October, 2007.
Subsequent to the receipt of nominations, a ballot paper together with voting instructions and a list of candidates with their submitted profiles will be posted to each AILDM member. In the event of there being 10 or less nominations, a postal ballot will be unnecessary and those members nominated will fill the Board positions.
The Nomination form may be photocopied if more than one nomination is to be submitted. Nominations will only be accepted if the nomination has been agreed to by the person being nominated. Nominees may submit a biographical/philosophical précis of no more than 100 words for inclusion on the Candidates’ Profile which will be issued with the ballot paper.
Members have been mailed nomination forms further copies are available in the Members Forum and the Members Area of the AILDM website.
