The Australian Institute of Horticulture’s 50th anniversary celebration
Celebrate this special occasion with Jonathan Garner, MAIH, a practising horticulturist and principal of Puddleton Gardens.
Jonathan will discuss and demonstrate the specific skills required to establish water-efficient specimen trees and shrubs that are picture perfect.
Topics covered will include the aesthetic and economic benefits, tools for the job, plant protection using staking and anchoring methods, and formative pruning.
This will be followed by a ceremonial planting by AIH NSW President, Richard May, of a Coachwood (Ceratopetalum apetalum) in the Lower Garden to mark this important milestone.
Saturday, 8 May
Morning tea at 10.30am
followed by talk and ceremonial tree planting to approx. 12.30pm
